What is Soldo?

Soldo is a proactive spend management platform that helps businesses stay in control of their spending and accomplish more. It brings together a powerful platform, a easy-to-use mobile app, and flexible payment options to cut out time-consuming admin and give companies better oversight and control of their spending.

With Soldo, you can issue Mastercard® Soldo prepaid debit cards to employees, teams, or even contractors. You decide who can access company funds and set clear spending rules, so there’s no guesswork when it comes to managing expenses.

How does Soldo work?

With Soldo, you control all business spending and – thanks to the integration with your accounting system – you can reconcile expenses quickly and easily. You can equip some or all employees, entire teams, or even external collaborators with Mastercard® Soldo cards , deciding who has access to company money and the rules by which to spend it.

Is Soldo a business bank account?

No. Soldo provides extra spend management features that work alongside your business bank account, instead of replacing it. You can use your Soldo cards to separate staff spending from your main company funds, as well as access powerful features that aren’t available with any banking provider.

What types of businesses can apply for a Soldo account?

Soldo only offers services to businesses that are incorporated entities. At the moment, we are unfortunately unable to help sole traders. We will let you know if this changes and you are able to sign up with Soldo at a later time.

Which plan should I sign up for?

Standard – Best for small and growing teams. Includes receipt capture, user wallets for better control, automated transfers, and cards for recurring payments.

Plus – Includes everything in Standard, plus multi-currency wallets, advanced expense reporting, and more control over company-wide spending.

Unlimited – Designed for large and enterprise businesses that need advanced spend management features tailored to their needs.

Can I export my data from Soldo?

Yes. Soldo makes it easy to export your transaction data in formats like XLSX, CSV, and PDF. These formats are compatible with all major accounting software, making reconciliation fast and simple. Soldo also integrates directly with most accounting and ERP platforms.

Does Soldo integrate with my accounting software?

Are there additional fees?

Beyond the monthly subscription fee, some financial services—such as issuing cards or cash withdrawals—may incur additional costs. You can view our Financial Services fee breakdown here.

Is it possible to make outbound transfers from a Soldo account?

Yes. If you’re on the Standard or Plus plan, you can make outbound transfers using Faster Payments (UK) and SEPA (EU). This means you can pay suppliers, reimburse employees, or cover company bills directly from your Soldo account. Access to Faster Payments is subject to eligibility—find the criteria here.

Does Soldo offer a free plan?

We don’t offer a free plan, but we do offer a 30-day trial on our Plus and Standard plans. Many ‘free’ spend management platforms charge for extra users or add hidden fees. With Soldo, our pricing is clear, and our Financial Services fees are among the lowest on the market.

Can I cancel Soldo if it is not suitable for my company?

Yes. If Soldo doesn’t meet your needs, you can close your account at any time by emailing businesssupport@soldo.com. Any remaining funds in your account will be returned to your business bank account.
